4th of July Fun

Naturally a holiday weekend is supposed to be full of craziness, chaos, and of course a load of fun! Well this 4th of July weekend was no different-why should it be? It was a weekend full of fun and not a lot of sleep, but boy was it fun! Friday we packed up and headed to spend the weekend with my sisters Heidi, Jessica and Erin and her husband and daughter Reagan. The fun began with hours by the pool side at aunt Heidi's where I spent who knows how long catching Zoe jumping from the side, helping Katie swim down the pool & of course forgetting to reapply the sun screen!! Next, we headed over to Mike and Erin's house to set up our tent! That's right-a tent in the back yard! Everyone was a great sport and pulled out the sleeping bags and blankets and slept in the tent-though it wasn't much sleep we got up early and went to the Murray City Parade; at which time we discovered that Kailtin has a hidden talent-CANDY SNATCHER!! She was amazingly agile as she raced between floats to get the left over candy in the street, dashed in and out of the road to get the goods, and dodge the flying pieces of candy that were falling from everywhere. Needless to say she walked away with a load of candy, thought Zoe and Reagan had just as much-it was just like Halloween!! It was a great weekend and one that reminds us how much we love our family and especially our country!! GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.
