"Up, Up, & Away"

This morning we got up early-5:45 and shook the girls out of bed and headed off to Springville for the Art City Festival Hot Air Balloon launch. I was pretty excited as I have never been near a hot air balloon that I can remember. It was pretty chilly and didn't look too exciting when we got there. But soon the girls where excited to see a great big pink balloon begin to fill up with air & before we knew it, up popped this giant pink pig!! Then several other balloons begin to pop up and we were able to walk right up next to them and see just how big they really are. However, we were soon found out that because of the incoming storm it had produced some thunder cells up above and they would not be able to launch the balloons-:( So we hung around for little while and were able to get in a pilot's basket and shoot the fire. The girls were pretty excited and had fun at the little festival going on in the park. Looking forward to another one coming up in July!!
