The Great Outdoors...

The days are getting shorter, and the nights are getting cooler;
and it seems that you are grasping the last days of summer as they
slowly slip from your hands.
Labor Day weekend is always filled with a last trips to the mountains,
swims in the lake, and for many the final pitch of the tent.
Why is it that we wait until the last great weekend before we make that trip
as a family to enjoy the great gifts around us-nature?
Everywhere you look you see the gifts of God's hands-
The green trees, the bright warm sun,
the animals, and of course the water....
The rush of life quickly carries us away into the hustle and
bustle of life and these gifts are often forgotten until that familiar
chill fills the air and reminds us that soon the days will be filled with a cold
that cuts to the bone.
But now is the time to remember; if even for a moment,
the gift of life and the beautiful world in which we live.
So kick back, soak in the sun, and live.
Enjoy the giggles of the kids;
The gentle summer breeze;
& the last wisps of summer.

Can you spot the deer?
