For months now we have been telling you all how much the wind blows at our house-and we mean blows. Almost every night the wind becomes this amazing force that just consumes our home and makes sounds and rattles that we never knew were possible. We love our home but have said that if we would have known about the wind we don't know that we would have bought this home. Well, now that the snow has come we are finding new adventures each morning. We don't know what is more 'exciting'-the snow or having to put the car in 4 wheel drive to make it out of the garage each morning! Howeve, we are grateful because our neighbors to the west have a fence on one side of their property and the snow just stops in their backyard-so much so that he had to us a winch to get his work truck out of his driveway a couple of days ago!! So here is the proof that we are not just telling you stories. You will notice that you can still see the grass, yet magically there are 4-6 foot drifts everywhere.
