Mountain of Rocks

The rumble of the truck, the quick puff of dust, and the big eyes of excitement...
Oh to see the world in the those big brown eyes of the kids!
A couple of weeks ago Matt decided it was time to have a load (7 ton) of rocks delivered to the house for our landscaping. Of course with the load came the work, but everyone came together to help move the rock, Yvette helped shovel, Katie got her wagon and shovel out, and Zoe supervised the work by inspecting almost every rock to make sure that it really was a rock; even the neighbors helped after Matt hurt his knee. Even though there is still a huge pile left on the side of the house, it looks fabulous and we are more than excited for the opportunity to make our home OUR home.
